November 2007 home sales in Rio Vista were brisk.  The total volume of all homes sold was $4,590,625 with an average sale price of $459,062.  This volume was surpassed only by one area of Vacaville in all of Northern Solano real estate.  The total number of homes sold in Northern Solano in October was 105 vs 253 in 2006; the days on market averaged 100 vs 87 in '06 and the average sales price was $484,208 vs $506,623 in '06.  The average price drop was 5 percent with homes lingering on the market about two weeks longer and the sales volume down over 50 percent.
