ANALYSIS OF HOME SALES IN RIO VISTA AND SOLANO COUNTY
Looking at the numerical figures for the first half of 2007, we can see some definite change over a year ago. In Northern Solano County, 3346 homes were listed for sale or approximately 7.5% fewer than a year ago when 3524 homes were listed for sale. Homes sold in Northern Solano during the same period dropped from 1597 to 1111, meaning 31% fewer homes were sold in 2007 than in 2006.
The highest sale price received in Solano County in June was $1,150,000 while the lowest was $20,000. The median sales price was $421,000 with an average of 54 days on the market. In Rio Vista 17 homes closed in June with an average price of $337,000.
